Client Testimonials
Trusted by homeowners, businesses, farms, and municipalities across Ohio.
We engaged with SP&L in 2019 and were delighted with the professionalism and efficiency of their customer analysis process, installation and after sales performance. The solar array they designed for us included the latest technology (we loved the all-black panels) and worked perfectly. The system was expertly and kindly explained to us so that operation has been first rate. We have had no technical issues since installation in late 2019, and the system has brought us almost continuous zero-dollar utility bills and, more often than not, a positive account balance. Whenever we call or text to ask a question SP&L is always very responsive. We love that they furnished us with a ring binder with all the array design and equipment brochures, proposal, invoice, interconnection agreement, and other documents in it. This has been invaluable in answering questions from inquisitive neighbours and visitors. On reflection, the number of household items solar-powered by sunshine is legion: our electric vehicle, lights, lamps, kettle, fridge, stove, microwave, air fryer, toaster, router, modem, DVR, treadmill, fans, digital picture frame, radio, TVs, A/C, vacuum, guitar, Blue Dots (w/ Alexa), iPhones, iPads, laptops, Apple Watches, hearing aids, electric BBQ, electric blanket, drill, screwdriver, drip coffee maker, curling iron and Kindles.
The City of Franklin entered into a PPA with Solar Power & Light, LLC (SP&L) for fixed-price solar power at our Water Treatment Plant, resulting in consistent annual savings. This project represents a strong commitment to sustainability, and SP&L has been an excellent partner in delivering a successful outcome.
Kalmbach Feeds, Inc. (KFI) has had the pleasure of working with Solar Power & Light, LLC (SP&L) for over a year on the development and EPC of our 2.5 MW DC behind-the-meter solar system. The SP&L team has been thorough, responsive, and highly engaged throughout the project. The system is now performing at or above expectations. We confidently recommend SP&L to other organizations and partners for solar design, engineering, and installation services.
The school district entered into a PPA for this $1.5 million project with Solar Power & Light, LLC. Several years later, we can confidently say that the project has exceeded our initial savings projections, delivering over $50,000 annually in energy and demand cost savings.
The City of Cincinnati has been a leader in renewable energy initiatives, including a 100 MW solar PPA program. Solar Power & Light, LLC (SP&L) was an early contributor to this vision, having been awarded the City’s first solar RFP in 2012. SP&L successfully installed 500 kW of solar across multiple City buildings, which continue to be owned and operated by SP&L on behalf of the City.
Let's discuss how solar can transform your energy costs and sustainability goals.
